Ubisoft has just released update 3 on the Public Test Server for Tom Clancys The Division 2. As the team noted the PTS is a separate client from the regular game available to all owners of The Division 2 on PC which exists only for testing purposes and nothing you do there carries over to the live game. Players can go ahead download and try out the new features and fixes coming with Title Update 3. Do note though that access to the Raid will not be part of the PTS so as to ensure the entire community is able to discover it and compete at the same time upon release.

Ubisoft has pushed out another update for The Division 2 with the new Update 2.1 fixing some of the issues with NPCs and other enemies getting stuck in a T-pose something that happened because of the previous patch from a few days ago. If you want to see The Division 2 benchmarked with 20 graphics cards. Fixed another issue with the Revive Hive not working properly. We are still working on instances where the skill sometimes will not resurrect players. Fixed an issue where the Crafting Bench upgrade blueprint would not be granted to players when moving from one World Tier to another.

The update fixes a number of reported issues including enemy NPCs glitching when killed out of view the True Patriots gear two piece bonus not triggering correctly the Crafting Bench upgrade not granted to players upon moving from World Tier to another as well as other problems. Here are the updates patch notes in more detail. In the wake of Patch 2.1 having just dropped for The Division 2 it looks like Ubisoft is rolling back some of the changes that it made and also making tweaks to some of the balance issues that were present on higher difficulty levels for players. This Division 2 patch 2.1 update is set to roll out later today.

Furthermore Ubisoft revealed the full patch release notes for Update 3 that is currently available on the Public Test Server. According to the team these changes are only for PVP content and they will apply to Conflict Normalized Dark Zone and Occupied Dark Zone. In addition to the following Nortmalization Changes players will be able to toggle displaying personal and group loot drops now text chat will now lose focus after sending a message and group tab will be populated with all raid members.

The new update for The Division 2 also fixes a bunch of bugs that have plagued the game for some players since launch with the Revive Hub now being more consistent in how it works but the team at Massive Entertainment added that it's still an on-going issue for some even with the new update. On top of that the Crafting Bench bug has been fixed with some players unable to upgrade it now not having that problem. The Division 2 looks to be making firm strides into its current end-game territory based on player feedback and satisfaction with the community reception to the title's first patch being positive.

That patch added major content as well as implementing an overhaul of the weapon system. While the next major Stronghold looks to be delayed Ubisoft is clearly still hard at work with this surprise patch. And this is just one in a series of patches that have been released over the past few weeks with more set to follow. Today's update is focused on fixing gameplay problems that have been flagged by fans and does not contain any new content. Maintenance will begin at 8:30am in the UK and fans will be required to update their games after servers return.

It's now been revealed by VG247 that there's going to be a Division 2 patch 2.1 update as a stop-gap measure to address some of the existing balance problems regarding difficulty within the game. These changes are going to be implemented across the game's release platforms after maintenance today and they're going to include changes in the vein of adjusting boss health and damage output and general tweaks to difficulties overall. Fixing issues with reviving which bugged out when players were affected by DoTs or were getting stuck in general.
